Baxter Academy
Windham Millwork Inc was called upon to deliver casework and countertops for Baxter Academy in Portland Maine. Baxter Academy for Technology and Science is based in Portland, Maine and specializes in a STEM curriculum. The school is growing every year and currently enrolls about 400 students grades nine through twelve.
The scope of the work was to provide plenty of cabinets and casework for students to easily store and use classroom materials. All items were manufactured and installed by Windham Millworks on this project, including state of the art countertops and lab graded materials. The educational millwork displayed on this project showcases Windham Millworks ability to custom fit a large classroom setting.
Cabinets
Large numbers of cabinets were created for this educational millwork project. Many countertops required a black epoxy resin as many science rooms require.
Custom Millwork
Custom millwork was created for areas of classrooms that needed specific measurements to fit the space. Each room fitted with design specific instructions.
Countertops
Countertops for the classes were the standard black resin epoxy for the table tops.
