Windham High School
Windham High School is a public high school accredited by NEASC in 2018. The total student population for Windham High School is approximately 937 students in grades 9 through 12.
Windham High School is part of the RSU#14 school district, which serves the towns of Windham and Raymond in the Sebago Lake region of Maine. Windham High School is approximately 12 miles from Portland and contains families with diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Approximately 37% of the district’s 2,500 students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
About The Walter Johnson Scholarship
In 2008, Windham Millwork dedicated a scholarship in remembrance of Walter Johnson. This scholarship is awarded to a deserving Windham High School senior who is pursuing a degree in Engineering or a Construction related field. Walter dedicated over 47 years to the Windham Millwork family and helped transition the business from the first generation to the second. Walter was an excellent craftsman and had an extreme eye for detail. He was best known for his contributions to the design and drafting department of the company which was mainly done by pencil and paper. Walter was known for his mentorship, friendship and “big brother” role for the second generation of the company.
